Position: Grading Coordinator
Location: Norfolk, VA
Responsibilities- Generate grade rosters.
- Process final grades and grade changes.
- Manage incomplete grades and ensure compliance with repeating rules.
- Support end‑of‑term processing.
- Direct the posting of grades and manage related processes.
- Communicate grading guidelines, deadlines, and procedures to faculty and staff.
- Extensive knowledge of higher education principles and federal/state enrollment regulations.
- Knowledge of FERPA, NSC regulations and related processes.
- Understanding of university operational calendars and student records flow.
- Skill in reviewing credentials, issuing verification documents, and conducting educational research analyses.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to diverse populations.
- Exceptional customer service skills in a student‑centric environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of specialized enrollment program areas.
- Familiarity with student information systems (SIS).
- Good judgment and discretion with sensitive information.
- Ability to multitask and handle frequent interruptions.
- Professional acknowledgment of errors in a timely manner.
- Significant independent action within established guidelines.
- Interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
- Contacting the public, students, parents, schools, faculty, staff, financial institutions, and professional organizations to provide educational information and technical assistance.
Salary range: $50,000 to $55,000.
Conditions of EmploymentThis position requires in‑person reporting to an on‑campus location.
