Job DescriptionClinical Assistant Professors in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will teach, mentor graduate students, engage in scholarly activity, and provide clinical leadership. Faculty will contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and community partnerships, supporting the program’s occupational‑centered approach.
Professional ResponsibilitiesFaculty members will:
- Design and deliver undergraduate and graduate coursework.
- Supervise and mentor students in clinical placements.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer‑reviewed outlets.
- Participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
- Engage in service activities that support the school and the community.
- Active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Familiarity with ACOTE accreditation standards.
- Experience with occupational‑therapy education, curriculum design, and program evaluation.
- Experience teaching entry‑level occupational therapy content.
- Experience mentoring graduate‑student research or capstone projects.
- Record of scholarly publications and/or impactful clinical research.
Final candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
