Special Education Teacher in Norfolk, VA

Multiple positions are available, including three openings for Early Childhood Special Education and three for K‑12 Special Education. If you have a specific age group preference, your input will be considered for placement.

• Valid licensure in Special
  
  Education:
  
  General Curriculum (PreK‑12), Adapted Curriculum (PreK‑12), or Early Childhood Special Education (Birth Age
  5)
• Demonstrated experience working with students in special education settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school teams and families
• Dedicated to fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment

• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with administrators, colleagues, and families to support student success
• Utilize instructional strategies and interventions to meet diverse learning needs
• Continuously monitor and report on student progress
• Participate in professional development and school‑based meetings
