St. Pius X Catholic School (Norfolk, VA) has an opening for an Early Learners (PreK‑3) teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. Successful candidates will foster the mission of the school, adhere to the Diocesan prescribed curriculum, instill a love of learning, plan and offer a supportive and interactive preschool environment, create and present engaging lesson plans and activities designed to reach all developmental areas for children ages 3‑4 years old, promote oral and written communication skills, foster critical thinking and motor skills, and work collaboratively with the faculty.
The candidate must be organized, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and maintain an effective, welcoming, and supportive Christ‑centered classroom learning environment.
- Appropriate degree with a Virginia teaching license and/or CDA license.
