Assistant Professor of Accounting (Tenure-Track F1166A)
The School of Accountancy in the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, Tenure-Track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Accounting, beginning January 2027. We seek candidates who possess a balanced perspective toward high-quality research, effective classroom teaching, and active engagement with the accounting profession. Teaching responsibilities will include both undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
The candidate is expected to teach tax and other areas of accounting. Apply by October 15, 2026 for full consideration. The position will remain open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Record of scholarly activity, including publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.
- Teaching experience and interest in taxation and/or across multiple areas of accounting.
- Relevant professional or industry experience in taxation
- Professional certification (i.e., CPA, CMA, etc.)
