Job Summary
As Science Outreach Program Instructor, you will travel to various summer programs to lead students through engaging, age‑appropriate, hands‑on science programs. Summer outreach programs begin mid‑June and run through mid‑August.
Compensation and Benefits- Pay: $18 per hour
- Hours vary, from 8 to 20 hours per week
- Free uniforms
- Opportunity for advancement
- Teach one‑hour Elementary and 30‑minute Preschool science programs using provided lesson plans.
- Travel to schools, daycare centers, libraries, recreation centers, and other venues.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children ages 5-11.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Minimum two years of college education.
- Teaching certification a plus.
- Fun and outgoing personality.
