Nevada State University invites applications for the position of 1000 Hour Appointment - Psychometrist I for the School of Education, Psycho-educational Mental Health Clinic.
Role DescriptionThis position will allow for a psychometrist to conduct assessments and assist with report writing to support the Lead Supervising Psychologist. The Psycho-educational Mental Health Clinic at Nevada State University offers comprehensive evaluations for community members who are in Pre-K through 12th grade and students in the Nevada System of Higher Education. Our psychometrists assist school psychologists and licensed psychologists with these evaluations.

Psychometrist Responsibilities
- Conduct and report on psycho educational evaluations.
- Create score tables for reports.
- Observe and document client behavior during testing.
- Collaborating with other clinic staff on evaluation procedures.
- Assist with scheduling evaluations as needed.
- Support Clinic operations and management.
- Support relevant policies and procedures.
- Support training of school psychology graduate students.
- Maintain confidential client records and ensure compliance with human subjects guidelines, HIPPA, and FERPA.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Training in psychometrics.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).
Work Hours:
This position will be asked to work approximately 19.5 hours per week, not to exceed 79 hours per month.
Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour.
