Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels for the academic year. The position offers a full-time schedule (35-37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 through June 2027. Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to support student learning and wellbeing
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Provide expertise in developing effective support strategies for students
- Engage in data-driven decision-making to promote positive school environments
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and serve as a resource on psychological practices
- Complete required documentation and reporting to maintain compliance and track student progress
Skills and Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or eligibility in Virginia
- Experience working across elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Knowledge of assessment techniques and special education processes
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable participating in virtual/VOCO services; candidates with prior VOCO experience will be given priority consideration
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to student success
- Work a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends required
