Role Overview We are seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) for an eLearning position. This role involves collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to support the Learning Technology (LT) Section. The position includes conducting needs analysis, designing course structures, developing instructional content, and ensuring all materials comply with established standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to conduct comprehensive needs analyses and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify learning gaps.
* Define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with overall course goals.
* Design comprehensive course structures, including modules, lessons, and assessments.
* Develop instructional content from source materials using appropriate instructional design methodologies.
* Select and implement diverse instructional strategies to cater to various learning styles.
* Design and implement pre-assessments, formative assessments, and summative assessments.
* Implement evaluation processes to measure course impact and effectiveness, using feedback for continuous improvement.
* Engage with clients, SMEs, and team members to ensure adherence to project timelines.
* Offer Instructional System Design (ISD) assistance and ensure quality for course providers.
* Prepare, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led educational activities in virtual and residential environments, which may require international travel 2-3 times per year.
* Represent the Learning Technology Section in meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging learning technologies and instructional methodologies.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** MS/MA or BS/BA Degree in Education and Training Development or a related field such as learning theory, educational psychology, instructional design, or education evaluation. A BS/BA Degree in these fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an instructional systems designer is also acceptable.
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years working with e-Learning development. Experience communicating effectively with clients, SMEs, and stakeholders is required.
** Technical

Skills:

** Experience using state-of-the-art e-learning authoring tools to develop SCORM-compliant learning content. Experience developing content within Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle or equivalent platforms.
** Portfolio:
** A portfolio must be provided that demonstrates contributions to at least three e-learning projects. For each project, include up to three representative storyboards showing course outline, flow, and assessment strategy.
