Employment Length: 6 month contract (conversion based on performance)

Pay: $140,000 - $170,000

• Develop a forward-thinking vision of AI integration within the software development lifecycle and business practices
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems containing logical and mathematical AI solutions
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems
• Develop and deploy AI solutions to serve software development lifecycle and business practices I
• Work within a Safe Agile methodology, participating in ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
• Ensure software standards are met for naval systems integration
• Provide engineering support for technical implementation of cyber solutions in conjunction with hardware product development
• Conduct vulnerability research and security testing for AI implementations
• Support the architecture refactor of legacy code base using AI‑powered tools and methodologies

• IAT II cert or higher
• Secret Clearance and able to pass T5 investigation
• 5+ YOE solving technical problems
• Experience in Agile environment
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field/ compensating YOE in the field
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  practices supporting automated delivery pipelines
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
