SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Test & Evaluation Engineer at multiple levels to support the verification and validation of U.S. Navy navigation equipment. The role involves developing test plans, maintaining requirement traceability matrices, and executing critical item tests while working closely with development technical staff to identify system anomalies, generate trouble reports, and produce detailed test reports that demonstrate compliance with naval standards.
Responsibilities- Lead the development of comprehensive test plans and procedures for maritime navigation equipment.
- Develop and maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure 100% test coverage of all functional and performance requirements.
- Oversee day‑to‑day testing operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct Critical Item Tests (CIT) on high‑priority components and subsystems to identify potential failure points early in the lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the development technical staff to troubleshoot hardware and software integration issues discovered during testing.
- Identify system anomalies and generate detailed Software/System Trouble Reports (STRs).
- Analyze test data to determine system stability, accuracy, and compliance with naval specifications.
- Generate formal Test Reports (TR) that document test results, deviations, and final recommendations for system certification.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide data‑driven insights to the engineering team for system improvements.
Education:
- Test Engineer I, II, III – Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Test Engineer IV – Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Experience:
- Test Engineer I – 0 years of experience.
- Test Engineer II – 3 years of experience.
- Test Engineer III – 7 years of experience.
- Test Engineer IV – 10 years of experience.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
