Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support a large defense manufacturing on a project in Groton, CT. This individual will complete physical modifications supporting service and repairs on naval ships and submarines.

Skills and Requirements
  • Experience working with electronics.
  • Experience working with High Voltage (800 volts or less).
  • Experience performing field service engineering activities such as verification/validation.
  • Experience with troubleshooting problems and performing repairs, modifications and tests in alignment with naval standards.
  • Experience performing test on power conversion equipment.
  • Experience working with PWAs and subassemblies.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance and a U.S. passport. Graduate of military technical trade (Navy Nuclear Power School, Navy Aegis "C" school).
  • Experience with Nuclear Naval Processes.
  • Experience working on submarine and/or Naval ships.
