The City of Norfolk is hiring for the position of Operating Engineer II in the Central Energy Plant. You will monitor building automation systems and ensure maintenance of city facilities. This role requires two years of experience and the ability to work on a rotating 10-hour shift schedule.
The successful candidate will operate and monitor energy management systems, troubleshoot issues, and uphold city infrastructure reliably and independently. A valid Driver’s License is essential, and the position includes a $5,000 signing bonus.
