Job SummaryWe are seeking a USV Project Manager who will be responsible for the Project Management, planning, coordination and execution, of the Sea Machines USV Products. The role requires working closely with Engineering, Operations and Sales/Marketing teams to perfect and advance the products, collecting and analyzing feedback from customers, and providing onsite Global customer training.
Primary ObjectivesServe as the USV product line technical expertDevelop and own relationships with key suppliers of our USVs serve as the conduit of technical information for Sea Machines supply chain for customer facing engagement.Provide commissioning/product start up supportCreate and drive process for customer acceptance and product handover.Support Sea Machines internal product testing/evaluation efforts, (Component, Simulation & Field)Execute USV, SM300, and AI-ris field demonstrations and organize SM participation for sea trial events and exercises with customersLead and manage efforts to create product manuals and technical bulletinsMonitor the landscape for Federal business opportunities and requirements for programsWork with internal teams to establish and validate product requirements.Provide back up support to sales & marketing for promotional eventsRequired Skills and QualificationsUS Citizen with 10 years experience working with fast paced marine projects and technical products.Expert knowledge of marine vessels, navigation equipment and vessel systems.Experience and knowledgeable of US Government customer base for boats and boat operationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies, or extensive “At Sea” time in a leadership role.Eagerness to travel on average, 30-60%. Domestically and InternationallyTier one writing and presentation skills, and able to maximize use of MS Office capabilities.Experience with marine industry software, USV offerings, Captain’s Credentials and possession of active security clearances are all favorableJob Type: Full-time
