Senior Project Engineer

Overview

Multiple full-time opportunities in Norfolk, VA and remote roles in engineering and project management across heavy civil construction, electrical/electronic engineering, and systems engineering. Some roles require active SECRET clearance where specified.

• Provide technical support in the principles, techniques, and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering and/or naval architecture as applicable to the project.
• Serve as a Senior Project Manager or Lifecycle Manager overseeing project planning, design, and construction in naval facilities, defense, or heavy civil construction contexts.
• Coordinate construction operations between contractors and internal teams; ensure safety, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Support asset management and related services for facilities and utilities infrastructure where required by the project.

• Active SECRET clearance (or eligibility) as required by the role.
• Experience in project management, lifecycle management, field operations, or related engineering disciplines.
• Ability to interpret drawings, guidelines, and diagrams; effective coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

Salary and hourly ranges vary by position; examples observed include up to $135,000 yearly or equivalent hourly rates.
