DutiesYou will independently manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
You will assess ship maintenance requirements and determine impacts to readiness and mission capability.
You will collaborate effectively with military personnel, civilian employees, contractors, and senior leadership.
You will identify trends, analyze data, and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and program effectiveness.
You will exercise sound engineering judgment and make technically defensible recommendations.
You will work aboard naval vessels, conduct ship checks, and support waterfront maintenance activities.
You will present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will analyze complex engineering and maintenance problems and develop practical solutions.
You will interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
You will project management, planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance actions.
You will conduct technical assessments, inspections, and readiness evaluations.
You will prepare reports, briefings, technical correspondence, and recommendations for leadership.
You will engineer software, maintenance tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
You will coordinate with ship's force, Regional Maintenance Centers, shipyards, contractors, and waterfront stakeholders.
