Our client is a privately held investment and advisory firm that has grown into a global organization. The firm provides wealth management and financial solutions for individuals, families, nonprofits, and institutions, focusing on long-term strategy and client success. This is a Full‑time, Direct Hire opportunity based in Norfolk, VA, with a salary of $72,500–100,000 per year in addition to performance based bonuses and equity potential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting functions for high-net‑worth clients, including trusts, foundations, partnerships, LLCs, and family office activities
  • Maintain complete records and prepare checks for client’s foundations, trusts, partnerships, and LLCs
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and prepare detailed year‑end tax information for third‑party accountants
  • Organize income tax return documents and assist with the timely filing of tax returns and payments
  • Process bills, payments, and wire transfers using ; ensure accounts have sufficient funds
  • Communicate with clients for approval of invoices and cash movement activities
  • Oversee client checking account reconciliations, record receivables and deposits
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports based on client needs
  • Serve as liaison between CPAs and clients, answering questions and supporting audit processes
  • Prepare payroll, calculate and deposit payroll taxes, and create quarterly tax reports
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Participate in client meetings as requested and support ad‑hoc special projects
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of partnership accounting experience
  • Proficient in Quick Books Enterprise and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in individual tax
  • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
