City of Norfolk is seeking a skilled Code Enforcement Officer to inspect properties, enforce zoning and building codes, and issue violation notices. You will interact with property owners, contractors, and other city inspectors, and prepare cases for prosecution.
Required:
two years in code enforcement, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain required certifications within 18 months. The role offers a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule and a $5,000 signing bonus.
