The Lynchburg Police Department is inviting VA DCJS certified officers to participate in a lateral transfer program. Officers will complete an application and undergo polygraph, psychological, background, physical, and medical examinations prior to employment.
Benefits include a sign-on bonus and 40 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time upon hire. 100% of LE credit will be used to determine salary and rank. High school diploma or GED is required; advanced degrees preferred.
