City of Norfolk in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Code Enforcement Inspector to inspect properties, enforce zoning and building codes, and prepare cases for enforcement. The role requires driving, field investigations, and interaction with property owners and contractors.
Two years in code enforcement are required, along with licensure and pending certifications (CZO or equivalent within 18 months). A signing bonus of $5,000 is offered.
