Partnerships Strategy Analyst
Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a Partnerships Strategy Analyst who will support the development of NATO military partnership strategy, policy, and concepts. The analyst will assess the opportunities and risks of Partner Nation engagement, draft policies, concepts, reports, studies, and military advice, and support partnership-related concept development and experimentation. The role includes identifying opportunities for partners to participate in NATO activities, incorporating partner perspectives into long-term transformation work, analyzing regional and geopolitical developments, and maintaining records of engagement outcomes, decisions, and lessons learned.
The analyst will coordinate with NATO organizations and Partner Nations and prepare briefings and other staff products for senior leaders.
- Postgraduate degree, master's or higher, in International Relations, International Security, International Development, Military Studies, Foreign Policy, Public Affairs, Political Science, or a related discipline; or attendance at a NATO or national military staff college at the OF-3 level or higher.
- Experience working in foreign or international security, international cooperation, defense, or military affairs.
- Experience in a defense- or security-related role within NATO, another international organization, or a national mission, delegation, or embassy to an international organization.
- Working knowledge of NATO partnerships, security-sector reform, defense and security capacity building, defense planning, or military capability development.
- Experience analyzing partnership opportunities and contributing to strategy, policy, concepts, or related defense and security products.
- Experience drafting materials for or briefing senior military officers or equivalent civilian decision-makers.
- Ability to coordinate with multinational stakeholders and prepare clear policies, reports, briefings, point papers, and speaking notes.
- Ability to organize engagement outcomes, decisions, and lessons learned so they can inform future partnership work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaborative software, and online research tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- An active NATO or national Secret clearance or higher.
- Must have a valid passport from a NATO member nation without travel restrictions to NATO nations.
- Ability to work on-site in Norfolk, Virginia, and travel to meetings and conferences for up to 30 days per year.
