This full-time Apprentice role at Transformed LLC is an on-site position located in Norfolk, VA. The Apprentice will support experienced stylists with daily salon operations, including preparing stations, shampooing clients, assisting with basic styling, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role involves learning and practicing foundational haircare and styling techniques under supervision, while observing client consultations and service delivery.

The Apprentice will also help with greeting clients, scheduling, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive salon experience. Over time, the Apprentice is expected to develop technical skills and professional salon etiquette to grow into a more advanced stylist role.

• Foundational knowledge of haircare and basic styling techniques; interest in learning services for diverse hair types.
• Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in a salon environment.
• Willingness to follow instructions, accept feedback, and learn from experienced stylists and salon leadership.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work full-time, including possible evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in or completion of cosmetology school or relevant training is preferred.
• Valid cosmetology apprentice license or eligibility to obtain one, as required by Virginia state regulations.
