Patient Experience Coordinator - 5-star customer service - full benefits, no weekends

Primary Responsibilities- Manage the flow of our clinic, safeguarding patient needs and concerns.
- Communicate with the Clinic Manager and Team Leads regarding delays that may inconvenience patients and keep patients informed.
- Facilitate assistance with scheduled appointments, miscommunications, or any items outside the normal day‑to‑day flow that require approval.
- Resolve any patient issue relating to appointments, time frames, or communications with staff and departments.
- Receive all guests and minimize interruptions that may delay doctors from seeing patients.
- Spearhead the Virginia Eye Consultant’s Concierge Service with the Director of Patient Experience, providing personalized amenities for time‑critical patients.
- Coordinate events with the CEO and Director of Patient Experience, internally and within the community, to advance the practice and serve our patient base.
- Keep all satellite locations stocked with supplies and brochures and oversee inventory.
- Travel to all satellite locations to ensure the 5‑star culture is observed and assist with daily operational issues.
- Assist staff and patients with transportation, hotels, hearing‑impaired appointments, and communications with surgery and administrative departments.
- Oversee staff in greeting patients, anticipating needs, providing a fond farewell, and training staff by example.

- High school diploma or GED; or one‑year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regular use of hands to handle or feel; frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Fre/About lifting/moving objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Vision required: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
