Sentara Norfolk General is hiring!
This is a FT dayshift position--Generous sign on bonus offered for qualified candidates.
ResponsibilitiesConducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, including:
- Positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology
- Operation of radiation producing equipment
- Operation of the electronic radiology systems
- Preparation of patient room/equipment/medications
- Maintains adequate supply inventory
Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
Will consider registry eligible graduate; must be registered within 180 days of hire.
EducationALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate
Certification/Licensure- ARRT
- Certification or License (Preferred) this line is optional
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
- No experience in x-ray required
