Position Summary
The QA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the organization, its programs, staff, and facilities remain in full compliance with all applicable laws, DBHDS licensing requirements, DMAS regulations, company policies, and other relevant governing authorities. This role serves as the primary authority on regulatory compliance, policy development, and ongoing monitoring of compliance activities.
Scope of Work
The Compliance Officer oversees compliance across all operational and clinical areas of the organization. This includes developing, implementing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures, monitoring regulatory changes, conducting internal reviews, and preparing the organization for audits and site visits.
Core Responsibilities
Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Ensure compliance with DBHDS licensing standards and DMAS program requirements.Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.Review and update policies to reflect regulatory and operational changes.Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to leadership and staff.Conduct internal compliance audits and reviews of programs, documentation, and practices.Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.Track corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution.Complete QA Calls for clients receiving our services.Audit & Regulatory Oversight
Prepare the organization for audits, inspections, and site reviews.Coordinate and support DBHDS, DMAS, and other regulatory audits.Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies when appropriate.Review audit findings and assist with response development.Monitor implementation of corrective action plans following audits.Training & Staff Support
Provide guidance and training to staff regarding compliance requirements.Support leadership and staff in understanding regulatory expectations.Assist with onboarding and ongoing compliance-related training.Serve as a resource for compliance-related questions and concerns.Minimum Qualifications
Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or quality assurance.Working knowledge of DBHDS and DMAS regulations.Strong ability to research, interpret, and implement laws and regulations.Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.Experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
