Clinical Psychologist-Director, Intensive Services, Neurodevelopmental Unit
Children's Specialty Group and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD), located in highly desirable coastal Virginia, seek a licensed clinical psychologist to serve as Clinical Director of Intensive Services - Neurodevelopmental Unit (NDU). The new leader will combine clinical activities and leadership, providing a full range of direct and indirect care services in an innovative, interdisciplinary setting. Direct psychological services include evidence-based assessment and treatment of children and families.
Indirect patient care includes program development and evaluation; oversight of NDU treatment program delivery by milieu/behavioral therapists; collaboration with nursing, psychiatry, pediatrics, and other specialties as appropriate; and clinical supervision and oversight.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, either a PsyD or PhD from an APA/CPA accredited program
- Successful completion of an APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship
- Previous clinical experience in pediatric/clinical child and adolescent psychology treating youth with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Experience with service delivery in inpatient or residential treatment settings preferred
- Experience providing clinical supervision to mental health providers
