Key Responsibilities Utilize coding guidelines to perform DRG validation and validate medical records Apply policies and regulations developed by CMS and commercial payers Provide appeal responses for claims and assist with new concept development
Required Qualifications Coding certification in good standing (e.g., CCS, CPC, CIC) Coding validation/auditing experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Ability to effectively prioritize tasks Continuing education requirements must be maintained
