Key Responsibilities Examine medical records for accuracy, completeness, and reflection of the patient's clinical status Detect inconsistencies in documentation and request provider clarifications as necessary Provide guidance and education on documentation best practices to clinical staff
Required Qualifications BSN or equivalent; RN (Registered Nurse) required Minimum of 5 years inpatient clinical experience, with 2-5 years in clinical documentation improvement
Experience with Solventum/3M 360 preferred Current Maryland license and relevant certification (e.g., CDIP or CCDS) required Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes is essential
