The Behavior Technician is primarily responsible for working one-on-one with a child with autism, or similar disabilities, inside the child’s home or clinic. The ability to follow directions and maintain a professional demeanor at all times is critical for this position. During the first 4 weeks, staff are expected to complete all trainings, complete the competency assessment, and take the RBT exam.

Following the training period, staff will be expected to bill a minimum of 28 hours within a 40-hour work week. This may be a combination of clinic and in home sessions. The goal is to bill as much as possible within a given work week to support productivity through direct client services and maximize staff earnings. Staff will also be expected to complete other indirect work such as entering data, updating paperwork, cleaning/organizing, and attending supervisions and trainings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Eligibility to pass the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam Reliable personal cell phone for communication

Reliable transportation

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Valid Driver’s License Valid Car Insurance Bachelor's degree in human services or related field OR High School Diploma OR GED

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement daily therapeutic activities under the direct supervision and delegation of a Behavior Analyst.

Implement Individualized Service Plans with clients and client families/caregivers as delegated by a Behavior Analyst.
