The Barry Robinson Center is a residential treatment facility serving military-connected youth, with a non‑profit mission to improve the lives of children and families. We are seeking an HR professional who thrives in recruitment, cultivates relationships with higher education institutions, and appreciates the impact of each hire on our mission.
Responsibilities- Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for open positions across all departments.
- Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs and proactively address anticipated openings.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop creative recruitment strategies.
- Create and maintain accurate job postings that reflect position requirements and organizational culture.
- Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships.
- Build and nurture partnerships with colleges, universities, and community organizations to enhance the visibility and reach of the JBRI brand (estimated 30% out of office, including travel).
- Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and execute effective engagement strategies.
- Manage intern inquiries/submissions and talent development aspects for the organization.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate interview logistics with hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment records within the applicant tracking system (ATS), track time‑to‑fill metrics, and prepare a weekly staffing report.
- Monitor recruiting metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and recommend improvements.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and professional networking opportunities.
- Ensure proper fiscal responsibility in recruitment‑related tasks and responsibilities.
- Ensure all recruitment practices align with organizational policies and employment law requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruitment best practices, and sourcing techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms;
Paycom experience preferred. - Preferred candidate has experience in healthcare settings and an understanding of CARF and DBHDS requirements.
