Position OverviewOur client is looking for Data Analyst to support initiatives related to asset, materials, and maintenance data, along with policy-driven datasets. This role is embedded within a defined project workstream and plays a key part in transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support client decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with project leadership and contribute directly to analytical deliverables, performance measurement, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a dedicated contributor within an assigned project workstream
- Partner daily with the workstream lead to execute analytical tasks and meet project milestones
- Gather, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources
- Develop performance indicators, analytical outputs, and client-ready deliverables
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Active and current Secret-level Federal or Department of Defense security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- At least three (3) years of professional experience performing data analysis or related analytical work
- Ability to work on-site with the client 2–3 days per week in the Tidewater region
- Prior involvement in defense, government, or commercial enterprise solution delivery
- Experience transforming data into reports, visualizations, and analytical products
- Strong background in preparing briefings, reports, and presentations for leadership audiences
- Hands-on experience building dashboards using data visualization platforms (e.g., Qlik)
- Exposure to quantitative analysis techniques such as statistical modeling, simulations, trend analysis, or performance measurement
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Understanding of U.S. Navy operations or logistics data environments, particularly supply-related systems
