Job Description: Siemens Ops Center Solutions Architect
Location: Norfolk, VA
Employement Type: Contract to Hire
Contract Length: 3 months (conversion based on performance)
Pay: $90 - $110 /hr
Responsibilities- Serve as the technical authority for Siemens Opcenter (MES) and Teamcenter (PLM) deployment.
- Design system architecture and lead configuration for MES and PLM solutions.
- Ensure Siemens implementations support Navy shipyard engineering, planning, and production workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts and shipyard stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee system performance, scalability, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior architects and developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT-related field.
- Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of IT solution architecture, with at least one from-scratch MES implementation.
- Strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter/Teamcenter configuration and deployment.
- Experience integrating PLM/MES with complex manufacturing or maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements and Navy IT standards.
