Business Information Developer Consultant Senior

Location

Required to be in‑office 1‑2 days per week. Eligible candidates must report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Norfolk, VA;
Chicago, IL;
Woodland Hills, CA; or Waukesha, WI. Alternate locations may be considered if within a reasonable commuting distance.

The Business Information Developer Consultant Senior is an expert in creating, developing, and implementing data visualizations and provides strategic data leadership to support Payment Integrity’s key deliverables—including data acquisition, analysis, and identification of automation opportunities.

• Undertake complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
• Develop very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
• Lead strategic data direction for Payment Integrity initiatives by pulling and analyzing data to support business outcomes and automation opportunities.
• Establish and communicate common goal and direction for the team.
• Establish and maintain advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
• Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Monitor project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
• Develop and support very complex Data Warehouse‑related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
• Conduct training on use of applications developed.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements to design scalable data and reporting solutions.
• Gather requirements by asking the right questions to identify business needs and present findings to leadership.

BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages highly preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, SSMS, Tableau, and Google Looker development highly preferred.
• Experience in ETL and data visualization highly preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical and data solutions highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization highly preferred.
• Healthcare experience highly preferred.
• Claims data experience highly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually at the specified locations, the salary range for this position is $132,792 – $208,242. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility).
