Our national client is undergoing an implementation of S/4

HANA to support Operational Logistics in a disconnected afloat environment. The current scope of work includes a Fit-to-standard of Navy requirements, prove out of the disconnected solution aboard ships, assisting Navy with KDDs, creating a roadmap, planning integration, data migration for the next phases as well as configuration of a subset of requirements aligned with the first Limited Deployment for ashore activities.

Task Description:

In this role, the Basis Administrator applies senior level expertise/capabilities to deliver Basis services to client to maintain database integrity, table indexing, change pointers, etc., performs technical upgrade, perform analysis of, document, report, escalate, triage and resolve database performance issues. Analyzes, designs, builds, and/or configures activities necessary for the initial build or periodic refresh of components for the SAP environments. Performs / Executes COOP for backup and recovery of production and non-production environments.

Develops / Maintains project schedules for various consecutive projects / efforts, manages CHARMs and Transports through Solution Manager or applicable tool to migrate SAP ERP changes through the non-production and production environments.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP, 2-5yr S/4
  
  HANA Basis implementation and post-production support experience,
• Experience with installation and configuring S/4
  
  HANA and Disconnected solutions in AWS Gov Cloud and on premise,
• Plans and leads major technology assignments,
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success,
• Knowledgeable with DoD Impact Level Security requirements, demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrated analytic ability to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions to project issues,
• Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
• CompTIA, Security+
• Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
• DoD clearance required (must be clearable)

Nice to have skills:

• 5+ years BASIS experience
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
