Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Healthcare BI Developer – Utilization Management (Business Information Developer Consultant) will be responsible for designing and delivering advanced data solutions that drive informed business decisions. This role combines hands‑on development with data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to support strategic initiatives.
How You Will Make an Impact- Define and deliver data solutions that support decision‑making across the organization
- Model data sources, data flows, and warehouse structures to ensure scalability and integrity.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and deliverables for assigned initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards using enterprise data warehouse platforms.
- Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
- Develops and supports complex data warehouse‑related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
- The majority of time will be spent coding.
- Conducts training on the use of applications developed.
- Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Healthcare analytics experience.
- Experience with utilization management data strongly preferred.
- Experience with Utilization Management systems and Behavioral Health programs highly desired.
- 4 years of database development and data management.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Strong experience in MS SQL Server (2016 or newer).
- Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS).
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
- Strong Excel and general data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, project management/implementation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
