Senior M365 Engineer (GCCH Experience, Collaboration Technologies, and MS Purview Expertise) Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 (M365) Engineer with specialized expertise in GCC High (GCCH) environments in the collaboration technologies space with a focus on solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Platform to integrate with broader M365 office toolsets.
Experience in developing solutions with Power-BI and Dataverse is a plus! This role will focus on modernizing and migrating user business functions through designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced M365 integrated solutions. This role focuses on educating the organization on modern communication and collaboration tools while ensuring strong data governance, security, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
Architect and Design Solution:
· Translate requirements and convert legacy on-prem Microsoft systems to modern M365 cloud solutions in GCCH
· Educate a broad audience of end users from each HII division on use of integrated solutions in Copilot M365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive in a GCCH environment.
· Work with the engineering team to design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end business process solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform—including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
· Integrate and manage data across Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and additional back‑end systems while architecting scalable solutions, developing secure and efficient data models, and ensuring seamless interoperability within the broader Power Platform and enterprise ecosystem. Data Governance and Compliance:
· Ensure all solutions comply with federal security standards, including FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program), FISMA (Federal Information Security Modernization Act), CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), and DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide).
· Develop and manage data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance with government regulations and organizational policies.
· Implement and maintain security and compliance protocols, including data classification, retention policies, eDiscovery, and data loss prevention (DLP) strategies in MS Purview.
