SAP Security Specialist / Consultant

CompensationStarting Salary at Permanent Hire: $145,000 - $165,000 & Full Benefits. Hourly Rate on W‑2 pending (value not provided).
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain secure SAP environments that protect mission‑critical Navy maintenance and logistics systems.
- Drive compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards while enabling efficient user access and operational effectiveness.
- Support enterprise modernization efforts, including cloud‑based SAP environments and evolving security frameworks.
- Design, build, and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and authorizations across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4
HANA, BW, etc.). - Administer user access, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role assignments in accordance with least privilege principles.
- Support SAP security audits, compliance reviews, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities.
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with DoD RMF and STIG requirements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and access‑related issues.
- Secret Security Clearance (Eligibility)
- Security+CE certification
- 6+ years of experience in SAP Security administration.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP role design, user provisioning, and authorization concepts.
- Experience performing Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.
Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Interim Secret Security Clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.
