NATO HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (NATO SACT) is seeking contract support to capture, develop, architect, and apply data science and quality assurance to capability requirements and operational analysis necessary to adapt to future threats and explore long‑term military strategy. The position is contingent upon award.

We are recruiting an Artificial Intelligence Integrator to facilitate collaboration, provide subject‑matter expertise, and ensure seamless integration of AI technologies to enhance Alliance capabilities.

• BS degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering in a professional work environment
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience integrating AI technologies into practical applications, preferably in simulation or wargaming contexts
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI
• Proficiency in AI and machine‑learning frameworks and tools such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, etc.
• Experience with generative AI models, in particular Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT‑3 or GPT‑4

• Contribute to the integration of artificial intelligence in NATO’s warfare development and capability development efforts
• Collaborate with wargaming experts to identify key areas where AI can enhance wargaming design, scenario development, analysis, adjudication, and support to human teams
• Support the integration of traditional AI methods and generative AI (LLMs) into wargaming, improving strategic depth and execution of wargames
• Develop real‑time analytics and visualizations to support decision‑making during wargaming simulations, e.g., using Power BI
• Support human‑machine teaming by integrating AI tools that enhance collaboration between human participants and AI systems
• Design and conduct experiments to test the effectiveness of AI applications in wargaming scenarios
• Document and present findings from AI integration experiments to stakeholders, proposing continuous improvements
