Supplier Payables Team Lead

Diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues independently. Lead root‑cause investigation for high‑impact issues such as system defects and integration failures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide training and guidance to junior auditors, internal stakeholders, and external users.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Execute audit controls and support SOX testing of key and non‑key controls.
  • Provide Tier 3 Helpdesk support.
  • Participate in system upgrade testing and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Identify, document, and track control issues related to workflow approvals and system validations.
  • Assist with drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with automation tools such as AI‑assisted invoice processing, automated notifications to reduce manual workloads.
  • Identify recurring issues that could benefit from automation and recommend process enhancements.
  • Assist in administering AP systems such as Ivalua and Oversight.
  • Help generate and maintain functional reports for AP operations.
  • Support efforts in automation of AP processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot AP system issues.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial or administrative support.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with systems such as Ivalua, Costpoint, Concur, or Oversight.
  • Experience with government contracting compliance or SOX.
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or dashboard tools.
  • Experience with customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
