- Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Managing network performance, capacity planning, and QoS policies
- Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including ACLs, IDS/IPS, and STIG compliance
- Performing firmware upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
- Documenting network architecture, configurations, and change management processes
Key requirements include:
- 4+ years of enterprise networking experience
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and network monitoring tools
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred qualifications:
- Security+ certification
- CCNP certification (Enterprise Core or Wireless specialty)
