Network Engineer

achary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise network modernization, automation, and management of large-scale multi-vendor network environments. This position is 100% onsite at Norfolk, VA or Jacksonville, FL
. The Network Engineer will provide engineering, administration, and operational support for enterprise network infrastructure and network management platforms while driving automation, performance optimization, and network reliability initiatives. • Administer, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure and Network Management Systems (NMS) platforms.
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions utilizing Python, Power Shell, YAML, and Ansible.
• Manage network configuration, provisioning, lifecycle administration, and performance optimization across multi-vendor environments.
• Support firewall administration, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and automated policy enforcement initiatives.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network engineering, network operations, infrastructure administration, or network automation environments.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Brocade, network security technologies, Cisco Catalyst Center, Open Text NA, Open Text NNMi, and Arista Cloud Vision.
• Strong experience with Python, Power Shell, YAML, Ansible, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Kubernetes, troubleshooting, and network performance optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to work onsite in Norfolk, VA or Jacksonville, FL

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
