Logistics Engineer
The Material Management Specialist will be a member of the Carry‑on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) Logistics team, focusing primarily on all aspects of material procurement, handling and management.
Responsibilities- Managing and maintaining inventory accuracy using customer directed supply systems, conducting regular wall‑to‑wall inventories, and performing discrepancy analysis
- Shipping, receiving, inventory, and requesting fulfillment of electronic/electrical components
- Serving as the onsite point of contact for material requests
- Reviewing, analyzing and executing purchase requisitions with our manufacturing and planning teams to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
- Creating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers and managing modifications to purchase orders
- Reviewing and performing thorough due diligence on purchase requisitions to ensure TAA compliance on all purchases
- Two years of full‑time professional experience as a logistician
- Two years of full‑time professional experience with government procurements
- Required specialized experience:
- Two years of full‑time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life‑Cycle support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) preferred, not required
- Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program
SRC is a contractor for the U.S. government. This position will require U.S. citizenship as well as a U.S. government security clearance at the Top Secret / SCI level.
