PMSSupply Technician

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide assistance for PMS 435 logistics-related audits, inspections, assessments, and database reviews.
• Resolve discrepancies and generate reports.
• Update and maintain logistics database files.
• Handle material receipt, inspection, packing, crating, handling, shipping, and stowage for PMS 435 systems fleet equipment, electronic test equipment, and related material (Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation – PHS&T).
• Provide Integrated Logistics Support, including NAVSEA equipment storage and shipping support of PMS 435/Fleet material.
• Establish and maintain the NAVSEA PMS 435 Navy ERP “M” (material) plant account.
• Support material receipt, inspection, packing, crating, handling, shipping, and stowage for U.S. Navy systems fleet equipment, electronic test equipment, and related material associated with PMS 435 systems (Electronic Warfare, Imaging and RADAR systems).
• Provide shipping and transportation to meet delivery dates.
• Assemble material into shipments.
• Prepare obsolete installation-related equipment and required documentation for disposition, typically via the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

  Experience:
  
  One (1) year of full‑time experience handling delicate electronic and electrical equipment and components. Must be trained and experienced in identifying Electro‑Static Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) equipment and components.

  Two (2) years of full‑time experience locating and moving equipment and materials between work sites according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and maintaining related shipping schedules, shipping/receiving records, and inventory records.

$22.00 – $30.00 hourly. The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is a good‑faith estimate of what the company intends to offer at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
