WR Government Business Solutions is seeking a Logistics Analyst III to provide end-to-end support for material handling, storage, and logistics operations related to advanced research and development (R&D) engineering systems and equipment.
Position Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities for complex engineering systems and equipment, including hardware and software configurations.
- Coordinate and perform logistics activities supporting enterprise-wide operations, including supply, maintenance, and facilities management.
- Support build planning efforts by determining material requirements and coordinating procurement actions as needed.
- Estimate and proactively manage project-related workload requirements.
- Establish and maintain hard copy and electronic property records and production status databases.
- Lead or support logistics personnel in conducting physical inventory audits.
- Conduct federal stock system research to identify manufacturer data, part numbers, national stock numbers (NSNs), and related information.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer logistics requirements and ensure needs are met.
- Provide technical logistics support for material handling, storage, and tracking of complex R&D and engineering equipment in warehouse and laboratory environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate material configuration, handling procedures, and readiness for integration or deployment.
- Verify materials against orders and monitor inventory levels to align with testing schedules and deliverables.
- Receive and inventory government property in accordance with Bills of Materials (BOMs); assign barcodes and input data into internal tracking systems.
- Maintain full accountability of materials throughout the entire production lifecycle—from receipt through quality control to final shipment or disposition—ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Perform logistics functions related to material management, including maintaining property records and updating production databases.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Six (6)+ years of experience in logistical tracking, reporting, record keeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property.
- Five (5)+ years of experience supporting government property requirements and/or defense lifecycle material management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop alternative plans to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- General knowledge of administrative procedures and analytical practices related to logistics and technical operations.
- Strong time management, adaptability, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to propose process improvements and resolve problems effectively.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with PPE and operational equipment (e.g., forklifts).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- This position is onsite and requires working in an office environment the majority of the time; remote work is not available.

- Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), including GFP Shipping and Receiving

$56,000 - $84,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
