Restoration/Content Packout Technician Assistant

Rainbow International of Norfolk is expanding! We are hiring a Restoration Content Packing/Cleaning Technician Assistant to join our team. As an entry level restoration/content technician assistant, you will partner with a Lead Technician and gain experience in mitigation, packing, cleaning, and restoration. Opportunities for certifications and promotions are available.

• Attention to detail – clean commercial and residential facilities
• Outgoing, positive personality after water or fire damage
• Driver’s license longer than 3 years with a good driving record
• Ability to work standing up for extended periods
• Carefully pack items for removal, storage, and restoration (must be able to lift 20‑50 pounds)
• Assure packed items are properly accounted for, logged, and scanned
• Perform work in a timely and efficient manner, including night and weekend work as required for 24‑hour emergency service
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Onsite packing on clients’ belongings including wrapping, boxing, and moving small to large items and furniture
• Carefully pack items for removal, storage, and restoration (must be able to lift 20‑50 pounds)
• Clean commercial and residential facilities following water or fire damage
• Assure packed items are properly accounted for, logged, and scanned
• Drive company vehicles to job sites
• Clean, deodorize, and disinfect personal property
• Inventory and label personal property
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment
• Be cross‑trained within the mitigation team

• Ability to work standing up for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Other duties as assigned
