Overview

ROCK SOLID JANITORIAL Inc. – General Cleaner (Hourly, Non-Exempt)

Reports to:

Team Leader/Area Supervisor/Area Team Leader

Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors.

• Set up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small & large liners.
• Pull trash from offices, change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trash
• Vacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (able to lift 45 lbs)
• Detail section each night
• Restroom cleaning
• Set cart-up replenish supplies
• Replenish toilet tissue
• Empty trash (including sanitary boxes)
• Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughly
• Clean all walls by wiping
• Wipe clean all stainless steel
• Sweep floor under toilets/urinals
• Wet mop floor
• Use air freshener
• Restock cart for next day
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be reliable and responsible
• Must be able to mix solutions correctly
• Must be able to report to work on time and work scheduled shift
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

• General cleaner with custodial experience in offices, warehouses, and industrial settings
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; able to perform physical tasks associated with janitorial work
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
