Job Title:

Floor Machine Operator

Location: Joint Expeditionary Base/Little Creek

Hourly Rate: $17.75/hr

The Floor Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all floor maintenance equipment under government contracts. This includes performing preventive maintenance as outlined in the equipment manual and company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain factory work areas, washrooms, and other premises, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, removing refuse, dusting, and minor maintenance.

Clean hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other designated areas according to contract specifications.

Operate cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, powered scrubbing, and polishing machines.

Polish fixtures and fittings, wash windows, and empty wastebaskets.

Replenish bathroom supplies and ensure cleanliness of all areas.

Work collaboratively with team members, maintaining a positive attitude and producing quality work.

Adhere to safety standards and proper equipment use guidelines.

Set an example through dependability, professionalism, and personal appearance.

Requisition supplies and equipment as needed from the supervisor.

Train other employees on equipment use, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance if required.

Assist with general cleaning duties as needed and complete all required paperwork and training.
