General Maintenance Worker
LB&B Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Worker to support our contract located at the Norfolk Federal Office Building, Norfolk, VA.
Working Days/
Hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm.
Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
. Health and Welfare Pay: $1,211 per month (per CBA) and it also offers Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays and Pension Plan per the collective bargaining agreement.
- Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
- Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
- Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.
- Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
- Hanging doors and installing locks.
- Replacing broken windowpanes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
- Experience in commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems including PM's, routine service calls and overall facility maintenance highly desired.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
