Position OverviewThe Operations Director is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the organization. This role requires a strategic, hands‑on leader with deep expertise in operations management, process optimization, and team development. The Operations Director will manage cross‑functional teams, directly oversee leaders at multiple levels, and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
In this leadership role, the Operations Director will play a critical part in aligning operational execution with organizational objectives through the development of KPIs, continuous improvement initiatives, and close collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives and long‑term growth plans
- Provide leadership oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient workflows across assigned departments
- Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and resource planning to maximize efficiency and performance
- Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and workplace safety standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost effectiveness
- Develop, document, and enforce standardized operational policies and procedures
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence
- Support strategic growth initiatives across Production, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Service, and Logistics
- Ensure production goals and processes align with organizational safety, financial, and quality objectives
- Provide direct leadership to the Industrial Engineering team, including production line design, layout planning, and assembly floor infrastructure requirements
- Improve inventory management and control processes to strengthen logistics performance
- Ensure facilities meet current operational requirements and future growth needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Must have strong knowledge of electronic assembly and test
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams in an operational environment
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities expected of an Operations Director
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Hands‑on experience working with ERP systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
