Safety Manager Job Description
We are seeking a hands‑on Safety Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) execution across active industrial and construction projects. In this role, you will partner closely with project managers, field leaders, and peer EHS professionals to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and advance a strong safety culture in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Lead EHS execution across active industrial and construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, field leaders, and EHS professionals to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Reduce risk and advance a strong safety culture in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and EHS regulations.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety coordination or related roles, with a focus on the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards and EHS regulations.
- Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 500 Certification – Outreach Trainer.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- CHST – Certified Safety & Health Technician.
- CSP – Certified Safety Professional.
- Other relevant EHS certifications.
The position is onsite, providing an opportunity to join a rapidly growing team. The work environment is fast‑paced and collaborative, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
